Tree planting boost for forest in Hungary

A thriving woodland has been extended thanks to members of International Personal Finance’s team at Provident in Hungary who planted more than 100 trees and shrubs in the Budakeszi Wildlife Park.

Joining forces with players and fans of Budapest’s Ferencvárosi Torna football club (FTC), fifty Provident employees picked up their spades for the day of planting as part of the company’s strategy to reduce its ecological footprint and offset paper consumption.

“We take reducing our impact on the environment very seriously,” said Botond Szirmák, Country Manager for Provident in Hungary.  “We organise several sustainability initiatives for our colleagues every year with the annual tree planting day now one of the most important of these and a tradition in the life of Provident.”
