International Personal Finance’s consumer credit business in Poland has been recognised by two respected organisations for building an inclusive workplace.
For the third year in a row, Provident Polska received the Diversity IN Check certification issued by Poland’s Responsible Business Forum and, for the second year, the Vox Feminae Foundation recognised the business with its “Fair to Women” award.
The Responsible Business Forum’s Diversity IN Check certification recognises businesses that manage diversity well, using international standards and guidelines such as the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, ISO 26000 and ISO 30415 to make its assessments.
The Fair to Women award is a distinction for employers who create women-friendly work places. Employers are assessed by an audit team at leading advisory services firm, PWC, which examines gender balance in the leadership and the employee population, equal remuneration, work-life balance, and other policies promoting equal opportunities and gender equality as well as engagement, transparency and accountability.
Commenting on the recognition, Aga Klos-Sidiqui said: “This recognition shows we are delivering on our purpose to build a better world through financial inclusion by ensuring key groups of people have equal opportunities. It also reflects the important work we’re doing to ensure that recruitment and progression opportunities are open to all and based purely on merit.”
The gender balance across International Personal Finance is around 80% female. This reflects our large and unique customer representative workforce who are in the main female and reflect similar demographics amongst our home credit customer base.
Our Polish business was recognised alongside major global financial services businesses, such as Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas, and NatWest Group.
