Poland’s largest NGO addressing corporate social responsibility, Forum Odpowiedzialnego Biznesu (The Responsible Business Forum), has included ten initiatives run by Provident Polska, IPF’s consumer credit operation in Poland, in its 2023 Responsible Business Report.
The report is published annually and includes a collection of ideas and initiatives that it sees as responsible best-business practices.
The programmes run by Provident Polska support the Group’s purpose to build a better world through financial inclusion and the initiatives acknowledged in this year’s responsible business report are:
· The Company’s Code of Ethics which guides responsible behaviour and decisions of all employees and customer representatives as well as contractors and suppliers working with the business.
· The Women’s Shelter created by colleagues at Provident Polska where women with children fleeing the war in Ukraine can find long-term shelter and support in Warsaw.
· Five for the Planet - an internal ecological project aimed at educating employees and customer representatives on how they can minimise their carbon footprint.
· The creation of an educational eco fairy tale available as an e-book or audio book providing advice on waste.
· Provident Polska’s company-wide volunteer programme, now in its 18th year, which provides opportunities for colleagues to support their local communities and causes through volunteering and fund raising.
· Women's Power – a developmental and events-based programme targeting female employees to support their career development.
