IPF Country Manager appointed as Board Representative for Equal Treatment of Women and Men

The Board of Employers of Poland has appointed IPF’s Country Manager of Provident Polska, Agnieszka Kłos-Siddiqui, as its board representative for the equal treatment of women and men.

The appointment is a key role in promoting equality and eliminating discrimination among businesses and entrepreneurs operating in Poland.  Agnieszka will be responsible for raising awareness, promoting equality and ensuring that individuals are treated equally and fairly.

Commenting on the appointment, Agnieszka Kłos-Siddiqui said: “Taking up this important position is not only a great honour but also a fantastic opportunity to build on the work I already undertake to actively improve the position of women in business. As the Country Manager of Provident Polska, a company where half of the management board is female, I am convinced that gender balance at all levels increases innovation and creativity which leads to business success.”

The President of the Board of Employers of Poland, Rafał Baniak, emphasised the achievements and activities that Agnieszka has been involved in, which were key to her appointment as Representative for Equal Treatment of Women and Men.  “Agnieszka manages a company that values diversity and frequently participates in webinars, interviews and discussions related to the issues of equality, and strengthening the role and visibility of women in business. She has also initiated the "Power of Women" project, the aim of which is to enhance the engagement of women, help their career development and inspire courage and the positive attitudes to reach for more.”
