International Personal Finance plc’s consumer credit business in the Czech Republic has been recognised for its positive and proactive approach to diversity and inclusion.
The business, which operates under the Provident and Creditea brands, was awarded a silver medal by the European Commission's Diversity Charter in the Czech Republic in recognition of its commitment to advancing diveristy and inclusion in the workplace. The Diversity Charter publishes an annual Diversity Index ranking which includes the top 20 international companies in the Czech Republic.
Human resources Director for Provident in the Czech Republic, Barbara Pencova, commented on how the business had significantly improved its position and overal scoring over the last few years to win the award against stiff compeition: “Our business prides itself on diversity and inclusion. We are advancing gender diversity and now 40% of our management team are female. We also focus on supporting working parents and building an inclusive culture and working environment.“
The Diversity Charter, alongside its NGO partner, Business for Society, is sponsored by the Czech Government, and supports local businesses to develop diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
