International Personal Finance plc’s digital consumer lending brand, Creditea, has been included in a newly released Index of Responsible lending.
Established by one of the Czech Republic’s leading NGOs, People in Need, the Index compares providers of short-term loans offered to consumers by banks and non-banking financial institutions. Creditea was awarded three stars out of four, and positioned 16th overall out of 40 leading companies and brands.
The Responsible Lending Index rated a range of credit cards, revolving credit and online micro-loans providers, and assessed them based on 15 different parameters in three key areas: costs of credit, transparency and client-friendliness/responsible lending.
