Responsible Employer award win for Provident Polska

International Personal Finance’s home credit business in Poland, Provident Polska, has received the ‘Golden Laurel’ award in the Responsible Employer category of Poland’s "Super Business" awards.

The business was recognised for a series of employee-related activities including the initiatives Provident Polska took to care for the health of its people during the Covid-19  pandemic.

Provident’s Care Plan provided all employees and customer representatives with personal protective equipment so they could undertake their work and visit customers safely and with confidence.  It also created a dedicated hotline to provide psychological help and support to those facing difficulties associated with the pandemic and remote working.  A "Parent Power Group" for those with pre-school and school age children was established to provide contact with others experiencing similar challenges and virtual coffee meetings were organised to enable employees to connect with one another while isolated at home.

Country Manager of IPF’s polish business, Agneiszka Klos, said: “We are delighted to be awarded for being a responsible employer.  The well-being of our employees and customer representatives is of paramount importance at all times, but particularly so during the pandemic when our core focus was, and still is, to protect our people.  This award recognises the importance of supporting colleagues to provide a supportive, safe and productive working environment so they, in turn, can serve our customers well.”
