IPF’s Hungarian business takes top marketing award

IPF’s home credit business based in Hungary has won the Marketing Diamond Award for its #togetherwearestronger online marketing campaign.

The initiative ran during May and June 2020, at a time when commercial on- and off-line marketing campaigns were put on hold as Covid-19 pandemic regulations meant lending was ceased temporarily.  Instead, Provident Hungary’s marketing team created a campaign on a limited budget to stay in touch with existing and potential customers.

The online campaign of blogs and social media posts centred on providing helpful hints and tips to make consumers’ lives easier as they faced living under lockdown restrictions brought about by the pandemic.  The campaign was split into five categories with regular guidance and ideas given on online shopping, home decoration, cooking, gardening and recreation.  The campaign generated around 60,000 visitors per month to the Provident blog – six times higher than the same period in 2019.

The Marketing Diamonds Award program is run by the Hungarian Marketing Association to recognise outstanding marketing and business development achievements, and to promote best practice in brand building, content marketing and social media.  The award was made to Provident Hungary in the Marketing Diamond Awards programme content marketing category.
