IPF’s European home credit business take Top Employer award

International Personal Finance plc’s (IPF) four European home credit businesses have once again won a Top Employer award.  The accolade, awarded by the Top Employers Institute, recognises companies around the world that have created the best working conditions for their employees and demonstrate high standards of human resource management.

IPF’s home credit operation in Poland, Provident Polska, was recognised for the ninth year running and it was third time in a row success for its home credit businesses in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania.

The Top Employers Institute is the global authority on recognising excellence in how companies treat their people, and has been operating for more than 30 years. The award comes at a time when, like many businesses, taking action to protect all the people working for IPF during the Covid-19 pandemic has been a top priority.

Botond Szirmak, Head of IPF’s European home credit said: “We are delighted to be awarded once again for being a leading employer.  This is highly respected award and coming in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic is a remarkable achievement.  It shows that our businesses managed to maintain the same high standards yet were able to be flexible and to respond to the pandemic in a way that, from the outset, clearly prioritised the health and safety of our people.”

IPF’s Global Care Plan implemented in response to the pandemic ensured the health and wellbeing of its people by providing personal protective equipment as well as guidance to keep them safe, adapt to new ways of working and maintain an effective work-life balance.
