Provident Czech becomes a signatory to Diversity Charter

Provident Financial s.r.o, part of the International Personal Finance Group, has for the second time become the signatory to the Czech Diversity Charter and its Golden Ambassador in the Czech Republic.

Announced on the 10th anniversary of the European Diversity Charter, Provident has been recognised for the business’ continued efforts in promoting equality of working conditions and opportunities as well as developing a tolerant and friendly working environment.

"Promoting diversity is integral to the way we do business, which is why we did not hesitate to join the Diversity Charter,” explained Marcela Kosmatová, HR manager at Provident in the Czech Republic.  “The composition of our Czech management team in terms of gender diversity has been balanced for a long time without the need to introduce quota-type measures. Our approach is based on the principles of openness, trust and flexibility.”

"We believe that the activities of the Diversity Charter support an open and fair working environment on the Czech market.  Promoting diversity is part of our culture,” added Marcela.

This year, Provident in the Czech Republic has also become a partner of the twentieth annual Equilibrium mentoring program for women, organised by the British Chamber of Commerce.
