Provident Polska awarded a Golden Laurel

Provident Polska, one of Poland’s leading providers of home credit and part of International Personal Finance (IPF), is pleased to announce that it has been presented a Golden Laurel Award by Super Biznes.

The awards, which are now in their fifth year, recognise the work of individuals, companies and organisations whose actions have had a positive impact on the Polish economy or have benefitted Polish society. Provident was the winner in the ‘Social Initiative’ category for its partnership with the Zaczytani Foundation. As part of the initiative over 4,000 books were collected to set up hospital libraries, with volunteers offering reading sessions to make young patients’ stays more pleasant and to promote reading.

Agnieszka Klos, Country Manager of Provident Polska commented: “We are delighted to have been awarded a Golden Laurel in the ‘Social Initiative’ category. We are strongly committed to CSR and firmly believe in the benefits of combining business with social goals. Our partnership with the Zaczytani Foundation to set up hospital libraries is an excellent example of the extent to which employee efforts can make a big difference to the local community.”

Provident Polska is a leading provider of home credit in Poland serving loans to more than half a million customers.
