IPF Digital in Spain, the digital lending business of International Personal Finance Plc (‘IPF’), has been named as one of think tank ECOFIN’s TopTen Fintech Companies of 2019.
ECOFIN’s annual TopTen Fintech list identifies ten companies to follow over the coming years, selecting businesses which are innovating and leading the way in the fintech sector. The shortlist was compiled with analysis from Circulo Fintech, a leading Spanish technology think tank.
Inclusion in this list of fintech companies to watch, recognises the role of IPF Digital’s brand Creditea in providing innovative credit services beyond those offered by the traditional banks in Spain, and its contribution to supporting digital transformation of the financial sector in the country. Creditea was further recognised for its use of technology to improve access to consumer credit and promote financial inclusion.
Creditea features in the list alongside other award-winning international companies, including British crowdfunding platform Crowdcube and German neobank, N26.
