Provident Hungary wins ‘Excellence in Customer Service’ Awards

Provident Hungary, a leading provider of home credit and part of International Personal Finance Plc, is pleased to announce that it has won multiple ‘Excellence in Customer Service’ awards.

The annual awards, which have been running since 2009, are designed to identify and recognise companies that have outstanding standards of customer service, across a wide range of industries. To select the winners, ClientFirst, who specialise in customer satisfaction, visited 1,500 customer branches, interviewed 6,500 customers and collected over 200,000 opinions as part of a mystery shopping exercise.

Provident Hungary won awards for Personal Customer Service, Call Centre Customer Service and Digital Customer Service. In addition, the company’s call centre operations were recognised with the Best Customer Experience special award in the Call Centre category. It is the fourth time Provident Hungary has won more than one award in a single year; something no other business has managed to match. Provident Hungary was in good company with a number of international blue-chip companies recognised at the event.

For the twelve months ended 31 December 2017, IPF’s Southern European business, which includes Hungary and Romania, had 499,000 customers and credit issued was £288.4M.
