Provident Polska wins the Masters in Business Prize

Provident Polska, one of Poland’s leading providers of home credit and part of International Personal Finance (IPF), is pleased to announce it has been awarded the Master of Business title by Businessman.pl magazine.

The prestigious Master of Business award recognises companies that have shown outstanding achievements and distinguished leadership in their industry sector. Other winners in the Finance category included Alior Bank and Europa Insurance Company.

Provident received the award in recognition of its wide range of financial products and multi-channel strategy, which the judging panel emphasised as the key features which have underpinned the company’s market leading position for the last 20 years. Last year, Provident introduced online self-service loans (Pożyczka Samoobsługowa), becoming the only consumer finance business in Poland providing credit through traditional channels – home credit with agent service and brokers – and online.

David Parkinson, Country Manager of Provident Polska commented: “Provident Polska is delighted to have been recognised as a Master of Business by Businessman.pl, which celebrates our position as a market leader for non-bank finance. As the judging panel noted, Provident Polska’s success in the Polish market over the last two decades has been underpinned by our commitment to addressing the needs of consumers through the provision of innovative, relevant and straightforward financial products.”

The award is yet another accolade that Provident Polska has received this year. In 2017, the company was named Top Employer 2017 for the fifth time by the Top Employers Institute and Financial Brand of the Year by economic publication Gazeta Finansowa.

Provident Polska is a leading provider of home credit in Poland. Over 1,700 employees and more than 6,700 agents provide loans responsibly to people who want to borrow small sums and repay in manageable, affordable amounts. For the 12 months ended 31 December 2016, IPF’s Poland-Lithuania business had 713,000 customers and credit issued was £375.1M.
