Provident Polska, one of Poland’s leading providers of home credit and part of International Personal Finance (IPF), is pleased to announce it has been named Poland’s Financial Brand of the Year.
This prestigious title is awarded to the company who, in addition to offering high-quality financial products, has an outstanding reputation and corporate responsibility practices.
The Financial Brand of the Year, now in its eighth year, is adjudicated by a panel of analysts, economists and business journalists assembled by influential economic publication Gazeta Finansowa. Provident Polska received the award due to high levels of brand recognition amongst customers and the company’s reputation for reliability, integrity and loyalty.
The panel also praised Provident Polska for its commitment to delivering consistently high standards of ethical behaviour and excellent business practices in its relationships with customers and employees, based on principles of transparency, accountability and trust. Provident Polska’s commitment to Corporate Responsibility was also recognised especially in the field of financial education and community-based volunteering programmes.
David Parkinson, Country Manager of Provident Polska commented: “We are delighted to be named Poland’s Financial Brand of the Year for a third time. This award reiterates our commitment - as a leader in the non-bank lending market - to maintaining high standards of ethical and professional behaviour with customers, employees and partners. We continue to be one of the most trusted and successful brands in our industry which this award recognises.”
The award is another accolade that Provident Polska has received this year. In February the company was named Top Employer 2017 by the Top Employers Institute. This is a prestigious certificate awarded to employers who demonstrate outstanding company culture, processes and polices, and provide employees with excellent career development opportunities.
Provident Polska is a leading provider of home credit in Poland. Over 1,700 employees and more than 6,700 agents provide loans responsibly to people who want to borrow small sums and repay in manageable, affordable amounts. For the 12 months ended 31 December 2016, IPF’s Poland-Lithuania business had 713,000 customers and credit issued was £375.1M.
